World Psoriasis Day - October 29, 2021

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that impacts the skin and affects over 125 million people globally. This global community is committed to finding a cure to this devastating disease and we are all coming together October 29th, 2021 to show our support for those with psoriasis or those of us who know someone with psoriasis. We are all hoping for a cure, but until then, we should support and uplift each other in every way possible.

Despite being physically distant from each other this past year during COVID-19, on World Psoriasis Day, we can all come together and support one another in whatever way we can. Here at Kenkōderm, we encourage everyone to get involved in any way possible- spread awareness about psoriasis and how your friends and family can help or, simply, being aware about the disease and how it can affect those around you.

At Kenkōderm, we want to make it known that while there may not be a cure, it is possible to live a comfortable and fulfilling life with psoriasis. We believe that psoriasis should not hold you back from living life, but, if you find the right treatment for you, then you should be able to live your life without limitations. Managing the disease is the best way for those of us with psoriasis to live a comfortable and fulfilling life. Once you find a treatment plan that is right for you, it is important to be consistent and stick to your treatment or lean on family and friends around you if you find yourself struggling to find something that is right for you.

We hope that everyone feels uplifted on this day of recognizing those struggling with psoriasis or those that have found a treatment plan that works for them.
